Cover image: Temporally and spatially sequential harvesting of light is achieved by heterogeneous hollow multi-shelled structures (HoMSs) with elevated light absorption efficiency. The cover shows the wavelength-responsive shells of HoMSs in the solar energy conversion process. This new concept of temporal-spatial utilization of energy and mass through heterogeneous HoMSs has potential in constructing a new class of micro/nanomaterials for photo-energy conversion and cascade catalysis.
